Happy Hobby Days from Fanatics Live
Happy Hobby Days is back with more holiday hits, including a lineup of huge sports card breaks and jersey, wax, and Fanatics Fest NYC ticket giveaways.
The updates have been too fast and furious to keep up with on the blog, and we’re jumping from the v1.4 update post all the way to v1.8! (Don’t worry, v1.9 is in the works because that’s an extra special update👀)
Fanatics Live has evolved immensely since our last update, with the web client now available, a host of new breaking and shopping options, promo codes, and a whole lot more. And it just keeps getting better.
On October 25, 2023, Fanatics Live’s product and engineering teams shipped v1.8 to the App Store, with some of our coolest updates to date.
The newest Fanatics Live release includes some cool new features for fans and sellers alike:
Break notifications: A fan favorite update, break notifications now inform you when specific breaks you’re interested in are starting, not just when your preferred sellers are going live.
Improved shop view: It’s now easier to view all shops on the platform to find and follow all your favorites!
Discounted break spots: Fans have always been able to cut deals with sellers on Fanatics Live, but now sellers can actively discount spots and communicate the deal to all fans via a percentage off the original price.
Viewers in live stream: Now, when you tap the viewer count in the top left corner, you can see exactly who is viewing the show, making it easier to find friends on the app.
Improved checkout flow for fixed price purchases: Rather than blocking new users from selecting what they want to purchase with a “Complete payment information” pop-up, new users can now select what they want, and add payment and shipping as the final step.
As with any update, the app has also received some polish and bug fixes, as well.
Stay tuned for the next update in November. It’s gonna be a doozy.
