2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Highlights and What to Look For

For many collectors, 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 is the main F1 release of the season. The large checklist takes an all-encompassing approach with a variety of autographs, inserts, parallels and chase elements.

Here’s a look at what to expect and be on the watch for in breaks and busting packs:

Base Cards and Parallels

2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 has a 200-card main set that’s broken down into several sections. Besides F1 drivers, there are cards for cars, teammates, legends, Grand Prix winners and more.

F1 rookies include Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Oliver Bearman, Gabriel Bortoleto. 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 also has the first cards of some F2 and F3 prospects.

Being Topps Chrome, there are a variety of parallels to chase. The rainbow here spans 30 different colors and patterns across hobby and value packs. With varying rarities, the challenge comes in building a run for a particular card. More versions are to come in future Sapphire and Logofractor boxes.

75th Anniversary Bonus Packs

Formula 1 debuted in May, 1950. The 2025 season celebrated the 75th anniversary in a variety of ways. For Topps Chrome Formula 1, it means a special bonus pack in every hobby box.

These packs have an exclusive 50-card set with an assortment of Mini Diamond parallels. One-of-one Superfractors and autographs can also be found.

Diamond Anniversary Relics

It’s not just the special packs that celebrate F1’s 75th. Special Diamond Anniversary Relics are also on the checklist. These 1/1 cards of F1, F2 and F3 drivers have an actual diamond embedded in them.

Short Print Inserts

While the checklist has a lot of different inserts, some are much more difficult to pull than others. Seven such chase sets can be found in hobby packs including the F1 debut of Helix, a popular set found across recent Topps Chrome products.

Others include the returning Futuro, Ultrasonic and The Grid. Vegas at Night, The Chain and Neon Nations are the new short print sets.

Autographs

Some of the biggest names in F1 have autographs in 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1. This includes Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

In addition to the main Chrome Autographs, Hamilton appears on some special on-card autographs.

Delving into the past, legends like Nigel Mansel and Mario Andretti are included in Circuit Masters Signatures.

F1 Debut Patch Autographs

It didn’t take long for Debut Patch Autographs to become some of the most popular in all of baseball cards. Now they’re getting an F1 spin.

Drivers in their first F1 races have a commemorative patch sticker included on their helmets. Those full stickers have now been transformed into special 1/1 cards, complete with autographs.

Two such cards are in 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1, Gabriel Bortoleto and Isaac Hadjar.

The Grail

The Grail is a scarce nine-card set featuring the top three drivers from the 2024 season: Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc. Complete the set, and they go together to form a puzzle.

More than that, the first six collectors who register their cards can win special prizes. The grand prize is a gold 1/1 and an invitation to a 2026 race.
