2025 Panini Select Football Rides the Rainbow

2025 Panini Select Football is one of the most colorful sets of the season. In a lot of ways, it’s built similar to Panini Prizm. That said, Select’s multi-tiered base set not only adds a layer of intrigue, it makes for a bigger chase with even more parallels.

The checklist isn’t limited to a challenging base set and massive rainbows, though. 2025 Select Football has lots of autographs and memorabilia cards as well as a variety of other inserts.

Here are some of the key elements to be on the watch for whether you’re opening packs at the shop or joining a break on Fanatics Live.

Colorful Foundations

The full 2025 Panini Select Football base set has 500 cards. But it’s not quite as simple as that. The checklist is split into five different sections, each with its own assortment of players and a slightly different design. Rarity also comes into play with lower numbers being more common and tiers coming with varying rarities.

Players may have multiple cards in the base set, appearing in two or more tiers. Some, like rookie Jaxson Dart, have a card in every level.

This comes into play with Select’s massive amount of parallels. The first three levels average 50 different versions. The tougher two tiers have 20 or more:

• Concourse (#1-100) - 52 parallels
• Premier Level (#101-200) - 51 parallels
• Club Level (#201-300) - 49 parallels
• Suite Level (#301-400) - 27 parallels
• Field Level (#401-500) - 20 parallels

So if you’re chasing Dart, you’ve got 199 different parallels across all five cards. As usual for Select, though, there are a lot of exclusives in different hobby and retail configurations, spreading things out further.

Signature Selections

With two in every hobby box, autographs play an integral role in 2025 Panini Select Football. Some of the themes include Rookie Signatures, Select Signatures and Prime Selections Signatures.

Autographed memorabilia sets like Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches, Rookie Signature Memorabilia and Jumbo Signature Swatches are also available.
2025 Select Football is also home to this year’s Contenders Rookie Ticket RPS cards. Parallels for these are limited to /24 Cracked Ice and 1/1 Super Bowl Ticket.

Short Print Inserts

Combining to fall six per hobby box, Select has no shortage of standard inserts to help keep things interesting. However, some are tougher to find than others.

Color Wheel is back for the fifth consecutive year. These bring in a rainbow to a single card.

Starcade may bring some nostalgia for the old WCW pay-per-views, but these inserts have nothing to do with professional wrestling. Instead, these cards draw inspiration from arcade machines.

Nicknames are the theme for Alter Ego. These give literal interpretations to what some top players go by.
